    The Position

    Fuseideas is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to create strategic marketing communications, manage implementation across various platforms, and track program performance. You will help to make data-driven decisions that improve demand generation, and ultimately sales.

    • Support marketing strategy and development of marketing campaigns.
    • Help create a pipeline of leads to be scored, nurtured, and handed off to new business
    • Own the marketing CMS (i.e., Hubspot) and manage all aspects of program deployment, database segmentation, customer nurture flows, and lead lifecycle. Know Hubspot intimately enough to build and manage creative templates, create lead-capture forms, build smart lists, landing pages, and reporting dashboards.
    • Assist with maintenance of webpages and features, landing pages, all while constantly testing and optimizing to improve performance.
    • Create and manage webinars, including building registration pages, creating invitation emails, and ensuring integration with Hubspot.
    • Ensure effective integration and utilization of reporting and knowledge tools, such Google Analytics (traffic reporting), SEO performance utilizing SEMrush and other performance tools
    • Measure, monitor, and optimize the revenue funnel from inquiry to MQL to SQL.
    • Propose improvements to Marketing and Sales processes to drive speed and efficiency.


    Minimum qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • 5+ years of experience within an agency setting
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant
    • Experience working on web and digital products
    • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
    • Ability to work in new and existing marketing technologies, manage marketing campaigns through a CRM and analyze campaign performance
    • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, proofreading and organizational skills

    The Position

    Fuseideas is looking for a Director of Content to spearhead day to day strategic leadership, execution, and optimization for end to end content programs.  This individual would be responsible for building meaningful connections and driving measurable business results.  This role is measured on the continual improvement of prospect and customer nurturing and retention through storytelling, as well as the increase in new prospects into the enterprise through the consistent development and deployment of content to each persona group.

    The Position

    The Chief Marketing and Content Officer (CMO) defines, implements, and oversees all marketing and content initiatives for the agency across multiple platforms and formats in order to increase the quantity of inbound leads and measurably improve agency positioning. The CMO will drive agency sales, prospect and client engagement, retention, leads and positive customer behavior.

    This individual must be used to being hands on and working in a high paced environment and an expert in all things related to marketing strategies and tactics, content channel strategy, profiling and analytics and dashboard reporting. Again, you must be an implementor. You must be a doer.

     

    Responsibilities

     The CMO requires a "customer first" marketing implementation and content publishing mindset. You must think "customer first". The CMO will be responsible in leading the development and implementation of content initiatives in all forms to drive new business for the agency and associated clients where needed. This includes:

    • Developing an executable marketing and content plan with defined KPIs and matched to agency success metrics
    • Leading by example with the generation of content, attendance at events, speaking engagements.
    • Defining and implementing a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short-term and long-term, determining which methods work for the agency brand and why. Continuous evolvement of strategy is a must. This includes but is not limited to podcasts, webinars, online events, white papers, blogs, videos, infographics, and organic social media posts.
    • The development of a functional content calendar and defining the owners in each agency vertical to help contribute content.
    • Manage third party content contributors and be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
    • Integration of content activities within traditional and digital marketing campaigns.
    • Using performance analytics to optimize subsequent campaigns
    • Developing standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies.
    • Leveraging market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioral metrics.
    • Establishing workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content.
    • Conducting periodic competitive audits.
    • Work closely with company's ECD on all creative and branding initiatives to ensure a consistent message across channels.

     

    Success Criteria

    The CMO is measured on the continual improvement of prospect and customer nurturing and retention through storytelling, as well as the increase in new prospects into the enterprise through the consistent development and deployment of content to each persona group.  Success criteria include: 

    • Quantity of inbound leads.
    • Quantity of events attended with speaking engagements.
    • Quantity of quality content published.
    • Quantity of shares of our original content.
    • Positive brand recognition and consistency across chosen published channels.
    • An increase in defined customer engagement metrics (measured by users taking the desired action...i.e. conversions, subscription, purchase, etc.).
    • Website and social media traffic growth.
    • Conversion metrics definition and growth.
    • Social media positive sentiment metrics.
    • Customer feedback and survey data.
    • Increases in key search engine keyword rankings.
    • A decrease in sales/buying cycles.
    • Clearly defining content distribution during particular stages of the buying cycle (lead nurturing).
    • Increase in agency AGI attributed through content activities

     

    Experience and Education Required

    • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field. MBA in marketing a plus.
    • 7+ years of experience as a respected leader in multichannel content creation (publishing, journalism, etc.).
    • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics. Crisis communications experience a plus.
    • Expertise in all major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.). 
    • Multilingual abilities a plus.
    • Audience development and subscription strategies experience a plus.
    • Experience with lead generation software and other digital marketing platforms
    • Demonstrable Successful Experience in similar position

     

    Skills Required

    • Proven editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English language.
    • Training or experience as a journalist in how to tell a story using words, images, or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience (it is critical that the CMO retain an "outsider's perspective" much like that of a journalist.)
    • The ability to lead and inspire teams of creative personnel and content creators to achieve company's stated goals.
    • Skill at both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics.
    • The ability to think like an innovator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it.
    • A passion for new technology tools and usage of those tools within your own blogs and social media outreach. Social DNA a plus!
    • Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content.
    • Leadership skills required to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors and content types
